 Middlesbrough Bowling Club is a mixed lawn bowling club, established over
100 years ago. Our six-rink green is one of the best in the area. The comfortable bar
offers a friendly welcome and excellent facilities all year round. Available for private functions,
the Pavilion is open all year round.

Anyone keeping a close eye on this website (or on the clubhouse) will know
that Vinny & Co (i.e. his Dad
& Denis Chapman) reached the County Finals in the triples. In addition Vinny was through
to the semi-finals of the county singles and county pairs.
This week's update sees that "Vinny & Co" qualified in the triples and Vinny is
through in the singles ... interestingly against the
same opponent who is also from a club in this area (Locke Park). So quite a
challenge when you know your opposition well. We're told that both
games promise to be very close.
The club played Thornaby on Sunday in the Marshall Shield 2nd round. A
nail biting finish we hear - a 75 : 71 win for MBC .
